About me
My Story
I'm Heidi, and I first heard about "getting your colours done" on a sewing retreat. I've always loved colour and was immediately intrigued so booked in with a Colour Me Beautiful consultant. I loved the experience so much that two months later I'd signed up to train to be a consultant myself.
The colours and styles that we wear really do make a huge difference to our confidence and the way we feel day to day. Being able to help other people to feel better about themselves, whilst immersing myself in the world of colour and style was an opportunity I couldn't resist!
Seeing clients leave the consultation holding their heads higher and looking their best is an absolute thrill.
My Mission
Colour can have a huge impact on how we look, how we feel and how others perceive us. When we get it right, it transforms our look.

Colour Consultations
Whilst the main question you want answering is: 'what colours suit me?' we will begin by finding out a bit about your lifestyle, clothes, make-up, shopping habits and what colours you like to wear. By looking at the way your skin tone, eye and hair colour work together you'll then be shown the range of colours that complement your unique colouring and ways in which you can wear them. You will learn how to bring the colours from your personal palette into your wardrobe and find out which ones really give you the WOW factor. You will also be advised on your best neutral shades and how they can create your wardrobe staples such as suits, jackets and trousers.
I will show you which make up shades compliment you best, and give you a palette of fabric colour swatches showing your best colours, and how to wear them.
Style Consultations
Make 'bad clothes days' a thing of the past.
Have you ever noticed how some people always look effortlessly stylish? Looking good is all about understanding what suits you.
You’ll start by filling in a short questionnaire to help your personal stylist determine your 'style personality'. Then we'll discuss your body shape and learn how to make the most of your good features and how to take attention away from the features you don’t like. Advice will cover tailoring, clothing styles, fabrics, patterns and accessories, as well as places to shop for your budget.
I encourage all clients to bring several pieces of clothing from their own wardrobe to the consultation - some things you like, and some you don't - so that you can see in practice what you have learnt throughout your style consultation.
I'll make a note of all the tips and advice you receive in your style workbook so you'll leave your image consultation with a record of all the advice you have been given. You will then have the confidence of knowing what your personal style is and how to choose the right clothes for you.
You will learn how to:
- Select the most flattering styles and fabrics for your body shape
- Emphasise what you like about your body and disguise what you don't
- Express your personality through your wardrobe
- Avoid shopping disasters
- Develop a coordinated wardrobe so you get maximum usage from it
- Dress with confidence, whatever the occasion
- Reduce time and frustration looking for the perfect outfit
